The grant is applied by your MCS-certified installer through Ofgem and deducted from what you pay. Scotland and Northern Ireland run separate schemes. Installation is currently zero-rated for VAT in Great Britain until the end of March 2027. Compare after-grant figures across at least two or three quotes.
